Brendan was born on a snowy November 5th in Ottawa. Only two years after Brendan’s birth he realized that he was no longer a tadpole, now granted with the ability (thanks to his newly formed arms) to hold art supplies. Once this was established, he vowed that he would make ‘art’. ‘Art’ for Brendan at two years old consisted of three bowls of sugary cereal followed by cutting up every article of paper in the house to make crafts. His parents would have seen his potential sooner, had they not have been woken up in the small hours of the morning on an almost daily basis. Brendan has been quoted by his parents to have “asked for Scotch tape for Christmas”. Not much has changed. Brendan still gets up very early everyday to make ‘art’, only now, he’s receiving awards for it. He’s won several poster and calendar contests, such as the annual Royal Canadian Legion Poster Contest and the Robert Bateman Junior Calendar Contest. Brendan still asks for Scotch tape for Christmas.
Donations can be made, should you wish to support Brendan Archangelo-Walsh. Times are tough for artists, so everything helps. You may even receive a special something as a personal thank you. The higher the donation, the higher the gratitude.
